The Role: Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

You will join the successful estimating and pre‑construction team, working on refurbishment and fit‑out schemes up to £4m in value. This dual role combines estimating duties with cost management responsibilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Site survey and scoping, including scope price build‑up
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and conducting cost analysis
  • Managing budgets, valuations, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve issues
  • Assessing cost effectiveness and identifying potential financial risks
  • PQQ/ITT/ITN support and submissions
  • Subcontract enquiry management and procurement
  • Adjusting estimates and budgets based on project changes
  • Maintaining records of estimated and actual costs
  • Liaising with multiple customers and managing departmental tasks
  • Producing pre‑construction deliverables and enforcing quality standards
  • Sharing best practices and aligning with core business values
  • Ensuring timely turnaround of quotations and meeting SLAs
  • Supporting departmental growth with innovative approaches
The Right Person

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in fast‑paced construction schemes. You should have:

  • Experience in both estimating and quantity surveying functions
  • Familiarity with multi‑trade estimating
