We're seeking an Estimator to join a well-established main contractor specialising in housing projects (both new build and refurbishment). With secured work across South Wales for 2026, this is a great opportunity to work on larger-scale developments.

Role Overview
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders and live projects
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documents for labour, materials, and subcontractor services
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Produce professional tender submissions and ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct post-project cost analysis, reporting variances to management
  • Support directors, site teams, and commercial colleagues when required
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in estimating, ideally within social housing (new build & refurbishment)
  • Relevant qualification (HNC/Diploma/Degree in Construction or related discipline)
  • Strong MS Office skills, with excellent literacy and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret architectural and M&E drawings
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
