The Role

As an Estimator, you will be working on a range of projects, including education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential. With a focus on commercial schemes, you will work closely with an experienced commercial team, and will enjoy working closely to the construction process in an informal and friendly environment. This contractor has solid client relationships and a strong track record of repeat business and a secured order book for the current and upcoming year.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyse cost plans, budgets, and estimates for projects up to £5m in value
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to develop robust tenders
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and provide value engineering where appropriate
  • Assist in bid tendering, procurement strategy, and post-tender negotiations
  • Support project teams with cost reporting and change control throughout construction
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar estimator role
  • Experience with education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential sectors
