Overview

As an Estate Caretaker, you will work within a team of 20 Estate Caretakers and have responsibility for a range of duties to create a clean, green and safe environment on estates throughout the Borough.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out tasks such as removal of fly tipping, general grounds maintenance and minor building repairs.
  • Complete monthly block flat Fire Risk Assessments which involves reporting and documenting any faults, including fire alarms and emergency lighting, and ensuring that any communal areas are kept clear of any obstructions.
  • Use your excellent customer care skills including face to face contact with customers on the estates and other professionals.
  • Work on an individual basis and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Working knowledge of health and safety requirements appropriate to the role.
  • Hold a full valid driving licence to undertake the driving requirements of the role.
Salary & Hours

Salary: Grade 4, £25,583 - £26,827 per annum. £13.26 - £13.90 per hour.

37 hours per week.
