Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead the Project Control delivery for the ESCAN Retro monthly reporting requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively to ensure consistent communications across internal stakeholders.
  • CAM project control responsibilities including generation of ERFs bid, monthly reporting, monitoring risks and opportunities, dependencies and resources to ensure effective delivery of CAM.
  • Work alongside the SDU Project Control teams to ensure Project Management/Control principles and governance are established and embedded for all key activities across the ESCAN Retro programme.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and tailoring of procedures and guidelines for operation of the programme, ensuring adherence to the Operational Framework and LCM mandates.
  • Responsible for managing the Project Control efforts in relation to Planning Analytics, EAC, ETC spends; including appropriate monthly reporting into the delivery teams and other interested parties.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Project Control and Governance in delivering complex projects/programmes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to digest, synthesise and brief complex information to a wide range of stakeholders in line with programme timescales.
  • Ability to drive successful delivery of Project Control and be a voice of influence in support of wider programme strategic activities into the Air Project Control Community.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities keeping all relevant stakeholders engaged in line with programme timescales.
  • Experience working & developing an apprentice.
Desirables
  • Understanding of the BAES Typhoon programme construct.
  • Working knowledge of the E&I Governance and Project Control Framework.
  • Capable of building effective relationships and establishing credibility & influence with stakeholders across the business and the external customer community.
  • Experience of Tableau, PM Compass, Excel.
  • Experience using toolsets such as Jira or Confluence.
