Job summary

Pico Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sales Order Administrator to ensure accurate processing of customer orders, shipments and related enquiries.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance and Logistics to uphold company standards and maintain strong customer relationships, with emphasis on timely dispatch and accurate records.

This role offers exposure to ERP systems, export documentation and continuous improvement of order processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Syspro is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders promptly and accurately with correct documentation.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Maintain up-to-date sales and customer records in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and Purchasing to resolve queries.
• Ensure proper dispatch of orders, returns and repaired products; prepare export documents if needed.
• Resolve complaints while maintaining positive customer experience.
• Support quotations, RMA processing, and credit requests.
• Monitor backorders and follow up on delayed shipments.
• Suggest process improvements to improve order handling and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, export regulations, data privacy, Health & Safety, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
