A leading hedge fund in London is seeking an experienced equity vol trader to join their established trading team. The role involves tracking market developments to manage risk, supporting the PM's research, and developing quantitative models to enhance the investment process. Candidates should have 1-5 years of experience in trading or a related field, along with strong equity vol product knowledge. Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.

• Track market developments to manage risk and identify investment opportunities.
• Support and enhance the PM's research process.
• Backtest strategies as well as develop quantitative models and tools to further improve the team’s investment process.

Skills & experience required

• Educated at a top tier university in a quantitative discipline.
• Prior work experience of 1-5 years in a closely related field such as trading, market-making, strategy / research, junior PM etc.
• Equity Vol product knowledge is essential – open to single stock, index and dispersion backgrounds.
• Experience with a programming language, Python being highly desirable.
