Currently, we are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join the Littelfuse Facilities and Maintenance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, supporting daily operations, and ensuring equipment reliability.
This position is based on-site in Chippenham and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

About the job:
  • Maintain and repair production equipment

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify faults

  • Perform equipment calibrations and preventive maintenance

  • Use initiative to source parts and create solutions for ongoing issues

  • Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and emergency procedures outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Management System

About you:
  • Higher education in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of equipment maintenance, or similar work

  • Completed apprenticeship in electronics or electrical engineering is a plus

  • Read and understand circuit schematic drawings

  • Have a good general understanding of mechanical engineering

  • Have basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

  • Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude toward the role and equipment as needs change

  • A positive team attitude, with the added ability to work individually to get the task done

  • Desire to commit to the continuous improvement & effectiveness of the Maintenance team
