Job summary

SER Limited, based in Kettering, is recruiting for a Hire Coordinator to support short-term hire operations. You will ensure equipment is available, keep customers informed and complete hire administration accurately in a busy environment.

Key duties include quotations, orders, invoices, deliveries, and updating CRM and internal systems while aiming to meet hire and sales KPIs. Training and progression are available in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, equipment or vehicle hire is preferred.
• Strong administration and customer service skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Comfortable communicating by phone, email and in person.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate short-term equipment hire from enquiry to completion.
• Schedule equipment deliveries and collections.
• Provide customers with updates throughout the hire process.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and raise invoices.
• Raise purchase orders and update internal systems.
• Maintain accurate hire and sales records.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Work with suppliers and identify cross-hire opportunities.
• Support process improvements and CRM development.
• Achieve hire and sales KPIs.
