Role: EON Utility Solutions Apprentice- Street Lighting Installation, Maintenance and Cable Jointing
Location: Unit 5, Thompson Road, Whitehills Business Park, Blackpool, FY4 5PN

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while earning qualifications over a four‑year period:
You'll spend most of your time out and about from your local depot, learning about all technical aspects of Lighting & Grid. You will also attend block release training programs to gain your formal qualifications including courses to provide trade skills such as plant operation and live electrical connections to the underground power distribution network. Learning from experienced professionals and mentors you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of the power engineering industry as a whole and valuable experience with a major energy solutions company.
This role is hands‑on, so you'll need to be ready to work in site‑based environments including public highway and construction sites.
Applicants must have completed the minimum school‑leaving requirements and be 18 or older, due to the safety‑critical nature of the role.
