Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental and Sustainability Services team. You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating environmental appraisals from feasibility through EIA as part of planning applications across regimes.

You will work with clients, regulators, and a diverse range of specialists to deliver environmental deliverables, manage risks, and integrate sustainability into design while supporting climate resilience and net-zero

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EIA and UK legislation; experience with DCO schemes is beneficial.
• Successful track record in project and construction environmental management for large infrastructure projects.
• Flexibility to spend time away from home base as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate environmental appraisals from early feasibility to full EIA.
• Prepare and deliver environmental and sustainability deliverables; manage environmental risk.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders; integrate sustainability into design.
