Job summary

Mott MacDonald Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Environmental Consultant to lead and coordinate environmental assessments across major infrastructure projects. You will work with engineers, planners and environmental specialists to deliver EIA work from feasibility to planning applications.

You will manage scoping, deliverables and timelines, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder engagement while supporting the delivery of sustainability and climate-resilient solutions.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic/professional qualifications.
• Chartership through a relevant organisation.
• Demonstrable knowledge of EIA and relevant UK legislation; DCO schemes beneficial.
• Track record in project and construction environmental management with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from feasibility to EIA for planning applications across regimes.
• Prepare and deliver environmental appraisals and assessments.
• Manage environmental risk and coordinate environmental, social and sustainability specialists.
