Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Environmental Consultant to lead environmental assessments and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects across the UK. You will oversee scoping, deliverables, and regulatory engagement to deliver high-quality Environmental Impact Assessments.

You will apply UK EIA legislation knowledge within our Environmental and Sustainability Services team, support net-zero objectives, and travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EIA and UK legislation.
• Experience in managing environmental aspects of large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate environmental projects from scoping through to Environmental Impact Assessment.
• Prepare environmental appraisals and manage EIA processes and deliverables.
• Coordinate environmental, social and sustainability specialists within project teams.
• Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliant and timely delivery.
