Mott MacDonald is hiring a Senior Associate/Associate Environmental Consultant to lead EIA processes across infrastructure projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, oversee environmental appraisals, and ensure compliance with UK legislation. The role includes client liaison, budgeting, and mentoring junior staff.

You will work within a hybrid model, supporting a range of regimes from feasibility to planning, while advancing sustainability and net-zero objectives across projects.

Competenze

• Chartership through a relevant organisation.
• UK EIA knowledge and legislation experience (DCO schemes beneficial).
• Successful track record in project and construction environmental management with design teams.

Mansioni

• Lead projects from feasibility and environmental appraisal to full EIA as part of planning applications.
• Manage project teams and coordinate environmental, social and sustainability deliverables.
• Program and monitor EIA processes and environmental risk management.
• Take part in contract/risk management and client meetings; prepare fee estimates and support business development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff; may take line-management duties.
