A local government council in Wales is seeking an Environmental Operative for its Waste Collection Service. This full-time role at Penrhos Depot includes loading and emptying materials, assisting in various tasks related to the Local Environmental Services team, which covers recycling, food waste, and litter management. The role demands physical work outdoors in all weather. Ideal candidates will have experience in manual labor and teamwork, along with a commitment to providing quality community services.

We are looking to recruit an Environmental Operative to join our busy Waste Collection Service on a full time contract, based at our Penrhos Depot.
There is an opportunity to join the Local Environmental Services team providing frontline collections of recycling, food waste, residual waste and glass. The Environmental Operative post holder may be required to work as part of the wider service including Street Cleansing and Ground Maintenance.
