A leading engineering and services firm in the UK is looking for an Environmental Advisor to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability initiatives. You will work closely with the Environment & Sustainability Manager, audit environmental practices, and help in the maintenance of an ISO 14001 accredited system. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental management and knowledge of UK regulations, coupled with strong data analysis and communication skills. This is an exciting new role here at Freedom with a focus on the hot topic of Sustainability! You will be reporting into the Environment & Sustainability Manager, within the SHEQ department, this role will support the business by complying with environmental regulations, working across our projects and operations to audit, report and ensure compliance; coordinating aspects of pollution control, waste management, energy efficiency and environmental health, and identifying sustainability opportunities; working with environmental data to report internally and externally; and maintaining our ISO 14001 accredited environmental management system.
