Job summary

A consulting company is seeking experienced Enterprise Architects in various specialties such as Business, Cloud, and Infrastructure Architecture. Job description

Our client is looking for Enterprise Architects with the following specialisms:

  • Business Architecture
  • Cloud Architecture
  • Infrastructure Architecture
  • Application Architecture

These roles are Inside IR35.

Contract Length: 6 months

Clearance: SC or CTC

Location:Office Attendance target is 60%/ 3 Days a week. Any of these locations: Bristol, Newcastle, Reading, Warrington, York, London (Restricted Space)

The following experience is required:

• Guiding, writing and setting guardrails at a domain level.

• Work in a senior management or leadership role.

• Mentoring, training and upskilling other Architects.

• It is preferable for there to be previous experience of working with the Civil Service.

• A demonstrable ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders/customers as well as subject matter experts and senior leaders.

• A technical degree or the equivalent experience is required.

• Strong stakeholder management is a key requirement as the role will need to negotiate with key Stakeholders at the highest levels within the Department, across Government and internationally.

The role will broadly:

• Find and use best practice, emerging technologies, and approaches.

• Lead and inspire architects, by helping them understand how to meet organisational goals.

• Horizon scan for external influences or risks

• Lead and support the successful delivery of the long-term strategy.

• Be responsible for the overall direction of business and digital capabilities, within their domain of responsibility.
