Enterprise Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape and drive Aviva’s Investors technology strategy.

A bit about the job:

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and people-focused leader with proven experience in enterprise architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-level technology architecture and roadmaps that align with Aviva’s long‑term business vision. They will provide clarity on the technology estate, cost of ownership, technical debt, and investment planning, while governing change across both BAU and project initiatives in line with global architecture standards. The role will champion the standardisation and reuse of shared technologies to drive efficiency and cost reduction, and work closely with design teams to ensure solutions deliver the right architectural outcomes. As a senior member of the team, the Enterprise Architect will also deputise for the Head of Architecture, ensuring continuity of strategic direction and governance, and play a key role in succession planning by developing future architectural leadership.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Knowledge of Asset Management systems and capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and Generative AI – desirable but not essential.
  • TOGAF certification – desirable but not essential.
  • AWS Foundation‑level qualification.
  • Azure Foundation‑level qualification (e.g. AZ‑900).
