Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Engineering Welder and Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting, and welding of metal components for various engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure products are assembled and finished to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Fabricate and fit metal components to assemble structures or machinery.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on a range of metals (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, etc.).
  • Operate workshop tools and machinery safely (grinders, drills, saws, presses, etc.).
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets safety and engineering standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment or components.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
