Job description

RecruitME is working with a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing site to recruit an additional four Engineering Team Leaders as production ramps up following significant investment.

This is a hands‑on shift leadership role, reporting into the Engineering Shift Manager.

You’ll lead mechanical, electrical and multi‑skilled engineers on shift, ensuring plant reliability, safety and performance within a high‑output production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support mechanical, electrical and multi‑skilled engineers on a 4 on / 4 off days and nights shift
• Act as deputy to the Engineering Shift Manager when required
• Prioritise and allocate engineering tasks to maintain production output
• Drive planned and preventative maintenance using CMMS / SAP PPM
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and permit‑to‑work systems
• Support training, mentoring and development of engineers and semi‑skilled staff
• Coordinate contractors and visiting engineers for upgrades and improvement works
