Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join the Altrincham operations team. The role involves planning engineer schedules for installations, service visits, and urgent callouts, while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.

You will manage multiple engineers, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure timely customer updates. The position is permanent, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, based in Altrincham.

Qualifications

• We are looking for proven experience in scheduling or coordination.
• We expect hands-on experience using Salesforce.
• You should be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate engineer schedules for installations, service visits, repairs and urgent callouts.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly schedules, balancing workloads and engineer availability.
• Monitor live schedules and respond quickly to cancellations, delays and urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate job and scheduling information within Salesforce and internal systems.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure they have the correct job information, site instructions and customer requirements.
• Track engineer movements and job progress, identifying and escalating potential delays.
• Liaise with Projects, Operations, Service Desk, Account Management and Finance teams.
• Act as a key contact for customers regarding scheduled visits and provide updates.
• Prepare and manage permits and RAMS documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Arrange accommodation and travel for engineers when necessary.
• Review monthly timesheet information and investigate discrepancies.
• Process fixed penalty fees where required.
• Maintain scheduling records, databases and reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling and field-service processes.
