Job summary

Halecroft Recruitment is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join our busy Altrincham operations team. You will plan and coordinate engineer schedules for installations, service visits, repairs and urgent callouts, ensuring engineers have everything they need to complete work efficiently.

The role requires strong organisational skills, proactive problem-solving and experience using Salesforce to maintain scheduling data.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, coordination, dispatch or logistics.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Experience with scheduling/tracking/operational systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: experience in technical/engineering/field service environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate engineer schedules for installations, service visits, repairs and urgent callouts.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly schedules and engineer availability.
• Monitor live schedules and respond to cancellations, delays and urgent requests.
• Maintain job and scheduling data in Salesforce and internal systems.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure correct job info, site instructions and documents.
• Track engineer movements and progress, escalate delays.
• Liaise with Projects, Operations, Service Desk, Account Management and Finance.
• Prepare permits and RAMS documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Arrange accommodation and travel for engineers as needed.
• Review monthly timesheets and investigate discrepancies.
• Process fixed penalty fees where required.
• Maintain scheduling records, databases and reports.
• Support the wider team in improving scheduling and field-service processes.
