Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for execution and management of engineering for power, industrial, and chemical projects. This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Represent the engineering organization when meeting with clients and other organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with clients, senior management, discipline leaders, vendors, contractors, and other team members to coordinate project execution, report project status, and resolve project‑related issues.
  • Works with the Business Development group to develop new clients and new projects.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years total experience. Minimum of 7 years of design engineering experience in roles of increasing responsibility on power, industrial, and/or chemical projects in a consulting engineering atmosphere. Minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effectively make presentations to clients for proposals and project status reports. Ability to speak effectively and lead meetings with clients, senior management, project teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
