Job description
Engineering Planner (Temporary) - Glasgow - Salary up to £29,300 DOE

CBW have a new opportunity for an Engineering Planner to join a leading facilities provider based in Glasgow. Your main duties will consist of organising and prioritising the engineering team’s workload, support the Service Desk in achieving SLA and KPI targets, and provide basic engineering assistance, including sourcing equipment and spares as needed.

Please note this is a temporary position until October 2026.

This is working 40 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern. The shifts are: 08:00 - 18:30 and 09:30 – 20:00.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and allocate engineering tasks to ensure deadlines and KPIs are met.
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality customer service, handling enquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Monitor workload, schedules, and rotas to maintain balance and efficiency in a busy environment.
  • Support the procurement and scheduling of parts, equipment, and materials.
  • Work with systems and interdepartmental teams to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to team members as required.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
  • Maintain own skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
