A leading defence contractor is seeking an Engineering Manager specializing in Electrical Systems to lead a team in the design and development of power systems. This hybrid role requires strong leadership skills and experience in electrical engineering. Job Title: Engineering Manager – Electrical Systems
Location: Barrow-in-Furness / Filton – Hybrid (Barrow: 2 days a fortnight; Filton: 1 day a week) dependent on business needs, with requirement to visit other UK sites regularly.
Salary: Up to £61,967 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

Working on the UK’s next- SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia and the United States you will be part of the Electrical Power team who are responsible for leading a team of engineers in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including various BAE, customer and supplier sites.
