Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an Engineering Supervisor to manage a team of engineers in Corby, England. In this role, you will oversee maintenance schedules, diagnose various systems, and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in manufacturing, relevant qualifications in Electrical engineering, and strong PLC troubleshooting skills. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and a supportive working environment with benefits including 25 days' holiday and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading and motivating a team of engineers.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair various systems.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of 5 engineers.
  • Manage PPM schedules using CMMS.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.

Skills

Supervisory experience in manufacturing/production

Knowledge of drives, hydraulics & pneumatics

Education

Level 3 qualified in Electrical + 17th/18th Edition
IOSH/NEBOSH & leadership qualifications

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Salary: £48,000-£50,000 per annum

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The package:

Your Role
  • Lead and motivate a team of 5 engineers
  • Manage PPM schedules via CMMS
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems
  • PLC fault‑finding (Allen Bradley & Siemens)
  • Drive root cause analysis and safety compliance
  • Oversee small projects, contractors, and statutory records
What We're Looking For
  • Supervisory experience in manufacturing/production
  • Level 3 qualified in Electrical + 17th/18th Edition
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of drives, hydraulics & pneumatics
  • IOSH/NEBOSH & leadership qualifications (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence
