Engineering Buyer required for a well-established manufacturer based in the Stoke-on-Trent area who are actively seeking an experienced Engineering Buyer to join the team.

Engineering Buyer Position Overview

• Managing the purchasing of products with operational and strategic procurement methods
• Refining processes to increase efficiency within the purchasing department
• Negotiating with suppliers to maximise cost savings whilst maintaining quality standards
• Managing suppliers' relationships
• Utilising the company MRP system to manage procurement functions

Engineering Buyer Position Requirements

• Proven background as a Buyer within an Engineering environment
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all supplier levels.
• Based in a commutable distance of Stoke on Trent
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
