Job summary

A leading equipment provider is seeking an Apprentice Site Engineer in Glascoed, Monmouthshire. This 4-year apprenticeship offers practical experience in Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering. Throughout the program, apprentices will shadow qualified engineers and gain essential skills leading to a fully qualified Engineer role. The starting salary is £16,640 in Year 1, with substantial progression opportunities upon successful completion.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic.
  • Clear, polite and professional communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills including email and text documents.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 3-year apprenticeship qualification: Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician standard.
  • Work under supervision and gain on-the-job experience.
  • Transition to independent work after achieving apprenticeship qualifications.
