Job summary

A leading education provider in Manchester is seeking an experienced Engineering Tutor to deliver high-quality training and support for learners. The successful candidate will need a strong foundation in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and must hold relevant teaching qualifications. This role is vital for helping individuals achieve their qualifications and develop career skills. Training delivery, safeguarding, and health and safety awareness are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to deliver CNC or Precision Grinding at Level 3.
  • Must hold D32/D33 or A1.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training and support to learners across funded programmes.
  • Help individuals achieve their qualifications.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health and safety during training.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to deliver high-quality training and support learners across a range of funded programmes as an Engineering Tutor. About You
  • Confident in teaching Turning at Levels 2 and 3.
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Skills & Experience
  • Ability to deliver CNC or Precision Grinding at Level 3.
  • Hold a recognised teaching/assessing qualification (PTLLS, A1, or equivalent - Training can be provided if not already held).
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Must hold D32/D33 or A1 (essential); D34 or V1 (desirable).
