GORSE SCITT are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Attendance and Welfare Officer. This role is of great importance to our work - the successful applicant will be expected to work directly with the Administration Office Manager, Administration Systems Manager, and leaders of GORSE SCITT, monitoring and supporting the attendance and welfare of the GORSE SCITT trainee teachers. To lead on the administration of trainee engagement and enhancements throughout the academic year, ensuring a successful trainee journey from initial contact to graduation. To provide administrative support to the Administration Office Manager, Administration Systems Manager, and Senior Leadership Team.

About GORSE SCITT

Over the past ten years, GORSE SCITT has trained over 2000 trainee teachers across all subjects and in both Primary and Secondary phases. It is one of the largest teacher training centres in the country. In 2023 GORSE SCITT was once again recognised as an Outstanding provider by Ofsted, supplying the life-blood of teachers within schools across our region. Our training programme ensures that our trainees are exceptionally well-prepared for successful careers in teaching, making an impact on young people's lives for the better, particularly for those whose lives are characterised by privation. We train around 200 trainee teachers each year from EYFS through to Post-16.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: C1 (SCP 12-17) £28,598 - £31,022 Actual Salary £17,390 - £18,864.
