Job summary

NES Group Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract. You will support aftermarket, repair, upgrade and refurbishment projects within a fast-paced engineering environment, coordinating activities from contract interpretation through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in a technical or engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in project coordination or contract administration within an engineering, manufacturing or energy environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and project financial controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer contractual requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate projects through strip, overhaul, repair and upgrade activities, ensuring delivery targets and profitability objectives are achieved.
• Manage parts and rental deliverables to support customer requirements.
• Develop and issue work packages and coordinate activities to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identifying risks and escalating any issues that could impact agreed delivery dates.
• Act as a key liaison between customers, project management, operations, engineering, quality and production teams.
• Organise project meetings and maintain accurate records and action logs.
• Ensure all customer communications and project documentation are maintained accurately.
• Provide regular status updates, forecasts and performance reports to management and customers.
• Support financial performance through effective budget control, invoicing accuracy and management of receivables.
• Develop recovery plans where required and communicate solutions proactively to customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.
