Job summary

FCDO Services is seeking an Engineer End User Computing to support the UK government’s technology needs from on-site locations, primarily Westminster. You’ll manage the lifecycle of service incidents and requests, advise customers on workarounds, and perform routine configurations of secure devices.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, secure environment, collaborating with service desk and problem managers to diagnose and resolve issues, while ensuring minimal downtime and sustained productivity across

Qualifications

• Agile and ITIL Foundation level or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Fundamentals role-based certification.
• Level 3 Information Communication Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise/secure IT environments.

Responsibilities

• On-site end-user support and maintenance of devices and services.
• Inform customers on progress and advise on workarounds when needed.
• Configure, install and manage secure managed devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate faults when required.
• Maintain and review technical and operation process documentation.
• Minimize downtime and ensure productivity of the organisation.
