Job summary

The Department for Transport is seeking an End User Computing Engineer to support colleagues with the tools and technical assistance they need to work effectively.

In this role you will troubleshoot, resolve issues, and work with specialist teams to tackle more complex incidents, while benefiting from a Civil Service pension, 25 days leave (rising to 30), bank holidays, and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• MDM deployment, configuration and support (Intune).
• IT Event Management: monitoring, triage, investigation and resolution of alerts.
• End User Computing: Windows devices, Microsoft 365 apps and end-user tech.
• Packaging and deployment of applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-time resolution by troubleshooting or escalating faults to service desk/incident managers.
• Define and deliver new services to users and teams.
• Coach associates and share knowledge across the team.
• Support and manage EUC and device environments.
