Job summary

Compass Community Limited is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our Children’s Homes team in the UK. You will help children experience childhood, build self-esteem, and support their journey into adulthood in a non-judgemental environment.

Starting salary £14,695.2 with £60 sleep-in pay. No prior experience required; we provide Skills to Care induction and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months to support your development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Age 22 or older to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
• Valid manual driving licence.
• Willing to undertake training; previous experience not essential.
• Willing to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Help facilitate children’s activities and appointments, supporting health and wellbeing.
• Meet a variety of children and young people with varying supervision needs.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
