Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to help our young people recover and grow. You’ll support daily routines, education, and activities to foster positive outcomes.

Training is provided with a four‑week induction via our Care Academy, and progression opportunities are available within the group. The role includes up to four sleep-ins per month, with enhanced pay, a generous holiday entitlement, a comprehensive benefits package, and a strong culture of inclusion

Qualifications

A can-do team player who supports others.
Honesty and empathy are essential in daily care.
Resilience to manage challenging situations.
A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
If you don’t have Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare we'll support you to study.

Responsibilities

Care for young people on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they are up and ready for school and homework.
Help with planning activities and completing paperwork.
Support evenings and weekends with engaging activities and outings.
Create lasting memories and a positive daily routine for the young people.
