Witherslack Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help young people in our care. This role involves daily care, school readiness, homework support and planning engaging activities in a supportive home environment.

We offer a base salary in the £37k–£44k range (dependent on attendance) with up to 4 sleep-ins per month, plus attendance allowances and regional bonuses. Training, long holidays and career progression are available.

Qualifikationen

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll pay for you to study.
• You don’t need previous experience, but a can-do attitude, honesty and empathy are essential.

Aufgaben

• Help ensure children are up and ready for school and assist with homework.
• Complete paperwork and plan activities for daily living.
• Evenings and weekends for activities and outings such as Xbox, football, film day or go-karting.
• Tap into each young person’s needs, personality and potential to guide them toward a positive future.
