Employment Solicitor - West Midlands

Overview

Leading West Midlands firm seeks a senior employment solicitor to join their expanding Brierley Hill team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in both contentious and non-contentious employment issues
  • Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings. You will need to have experience issuing employment tribunal claims and dealing with ACAS Early Conciliation
  • Support individuals and businesses
  • Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side
About you
  • Qualified Solicitor and be able to work unsupervised
  • Proven track record handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills
