Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive – 3-5 Years' PQE+

A well-established multi-office legal practice is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its expanding team of ten within the Employment Department, based in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Employment Law Specialist to progress their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

You will handle a varied contentious caseload, with a strong emphasis on Employment Tribunal defence work for Respondents. Approximately 25-30% of the role will involve managing Tribunal matters, while the remainder will focus on providing commercial employment law and HR advice to a portfolio of retained employer clients.

This position is part of a department that supports a nationwide HR and employment advisory service, offering practical, solution-focused guidance, bespoke documentation and on-site support when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a mixed Employment Tribunal caseload (primarily Respondent defence)
  • Providing day-to-day employment law and HR advice to a portfolio of 20-25 retained employer clients, including independent schools, care homes and GP practices
