Job summary

Seetec is seeking an Employment Adviser in Ipswich to support participants on their journey to employment. You will coach, motivate and guide customers, manage a caseload, and help individuals overcome barriers while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role focuses on sourcing opportunities, delivering personalised action plans, and providing job-search and interview support in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
• Ability to manage a caseload and guide participants to employment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Knowledge of local labour market and self-employment basics.
• Fully IT literate with MS Office.
• Full driving licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers to overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive experience to new customers and engage them with the programme.
• Facilitate assessments to understand personal circumstances and goals.
• Signpost customers to internal self-employment support where appropriate.
• Co-produce personalised Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Provide tailored job-search and interview preparation support.
• Develop knowledge of the local labour market to source opportunities.
• Undertake direct outreach to employers via digital channels.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to maximise opportunities.
