Job summary

Seetec Group Ltd. in Ipswich is recruiting an Employment Adviser to guide participants toward sustainable employment. You will manage a caseload, coach, mentor and build strong relationships while delivering first-class customer service and achieving targets.

The role focuses on advising on job-search, signposting to self-employment, and creating tailored, SMART action plans. A permanent, 37-hour week contract with progression opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment and related resources.
• Fully IT literate with standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a target-driven environment and ability to meet contractual expectations.
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
• Knowledge of the employability industry and recruitment sector.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progress caseloads of referred customers and support progression to employment.
• Provide a positive customer experience and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Deliver high standards of customer service.
• Use assessments to understand personal circumstances, ambitions and goals.
• Signpost to self-employment support where appropriate.
• Co-create personalised Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Provide job-search and interview preparation support to match customers to suitable roles.
• Assist customers with digital learning materials and online vacancies.
• Maintain accurate evidence of job starts and labour market information.
• Develop relationships with employers and stakeholders to maximise opportunities.
• Ensure records meet compliance and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and promote safeguarding policies.
