The Role
You will handle a diverse caseload ofcontentious and non-contentious employment matters, primarily advising clients in thehigher educationandcharitysectors. The work is intellectually stimulating, often involving complex legal issues within large institutions operating in a dynamic national and geopolitical context.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on a wide range of employment law matters
  • Managing Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Delivering training, seminars and legal updates to clients
  • Supporting business development initiatives
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitorwith3+ years PQEin employment law
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Experience managing Employment Tribunal cases
  • Excellent drafting, presentation and client relationship skills
  • Ability to lead on matters with appropriate supervision
  • Interest in delivering client training and contributing to business development

Desirable Experience

  • Advising large employers or public sector clients
  • Advocacy experience
  • Previous exposure to the education or charity sectors (not essential – training provided)
