Job summary

Seetec in Northwich is seeking an Employment Adviser to guide participants toward sustainable employment. You will coach, support and motivate clients, manage a caseload, build trusted relationships, and help individuals overcome barriers to work.

The role is office-based, 37 hours a week, with a salary of £26,500 to £29,545, plus benefits such as 25 days leave, pension, healthcare, and other incentives. Experience in target-driven roles and IT literacy are valued.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the local labour market in the area
• Basic knowledge of self-employment concepts
• Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a target-driven environment
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual/quality standards

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers to overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive experience to new customers and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Achieve required Customer Service Standards on the programme.
• Facilitate assessments to understand each customer's circumstances, ambitions and goals.
• Provide guidance on self-employment basics and signpost to internal specialists.
• Co-create tailored Action Plans with SMART targets for progression.
• Provide tailored job-search and interview preparation support.
• Help customers master digital technologies for guided self-service learning and online vacancies.
• Maintain evidence of job starts and source suitable opportunities locally.
