Job summary

TfGM Greater Manchester is seeking a People Advisor to own a varied employee relations caseload and provide practical guidance to managers on policy and process. You’ll support investigations, hearings and meetings, and help shape People policies and guidance to improve the experience of colleagues and managers.

You’ll bring hands-on ER casework experience, strong stakeholder skills, and CIPD qualifications or working towards CIPD.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with employee relations casework.
• Ability to advise managers on policy and process.
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, attendance, probation, and capability cases.
• CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD, with continuing professional development evidence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied employee relations caseload.
• Provide practical guidance on policy and process.
• Support investigations, hearings and meetings.
• Prepare documentation and ensure cases progress.
• Contribute to reviewing and implementing People policies.
