Job summary

Michael Page (UK) is recruiting an Employee Relations Advisor in Manchester to provide clear ER guidance to managers and colleagues. You will manage ER cases from initial discussion to a defined outcome, supporting fair handling of disciplinary, grievance and absence matters while preparing accurate case notes and correspondence.

You will work closely with the HR team to resolve people issues promptly, identify recurring themes, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Experience handling employee relations cases across disciplinary, grievance and absence matters.
• Ability to provide clear, practical ER advice to managers.
• Proven skill in preparing accurate case notes and correspondence.
• Experience working with HR colleagues to resolve people issues.
• Discretion handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear employee relations advice to managers on workplace matters.
• Manage ER cases from initial discussion through to outcome.

• Guide managers through formal meetings and explain required processes.
