Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert ER support across our branch network and support functions. You will work with managers to resolve employee relations matters confidently, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and company policies.

This hybrid role is based at our head office in Wolverhampton and offers the chance to impact colleague experience, engagement and performance through coaching, policy updates and proactive people management.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisor role with significant ER exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Confident managing disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance cases end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex issues clearly to managers at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations Case Management across branch network and support functions.
• Provide timely advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and conduct matters.
• Manage ER case load from start to finish with fair process and accurate documentation.
• Attend formal ER meetings (virtually or on-site) as required, supporting managers and best practice.
• Support escalation and resolution of complex cases with ER Manager or HRBP team.
• Maintain up-to-date ER case records, trackers, and reports.
