Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join the People Team in Birmingham. You will deliver expert ER guidance to managers across a range of employment matters in a busy, task-based environment.

You'll investigate complex issues, support disciplinary and grievance processes, and help managers resolve cases with confidence, balancing legal compliance with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and practical application.
• Proven ability to advise managers on complex ER matters.
• Strong investigation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER advice to managers across a wide range of employment matters.
• Support and coach managers through disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters.
• Assess ER risks and provide pragmatic, compliant recommendations.
• Support investigations into complex ER issues with professionalism and sensitivity.
