Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Design Manager to lead end-to-end design delivery for critical data centre projects across Europe. You will coordinate with external consultants and internal teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards while supporting our expanding digital footprint.

The role requires delivering complex M&E-led designs and managing multidisciplinary teams, with international travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities in data centres, pharma or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety and control systems and building codes.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary design teams and managing vendor/internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party design consultants to deliver data centre facilities aligned with global specs.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to execute fit-out programs.
• Provide engineering oversight of budgets, schedules and product delivery.
• Identify engineering risks early to protect timelines and quality.
