Job summary

Iron Mountain seeks a Design Manager to lead end-to-end design delivery for critical data centre projects across Europe. You will manage third-party design consultants and work closely with construction, finance, sales and operations to ensure alignment with specifications and budgets.

The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, strong knowledge of M&E systems, and the ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time. A university degree in Architecture or Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities (data centres, pharma, energy).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety and control systems; familiarity with codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead external design consultants to deliver data centre facilities that meet global specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute fit-out programs and validate pursuits.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality compliance for design delivery.
• Identify and mitigate design risks to protect timelines and standards.
