Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Design Manager to join our EMEA Design and Construction team. You’ll lead end-to-end design delivery for data centre construction across Europe, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts and external consultants to ensure our infrastructure meets exact engineering standards and supports our digital footprint.

Qualifications

Experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities (data centers, pharma, energy).
Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building codes.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage vendor/internal stakeholders.
Degree in Architecture or Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering; ability to travel internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Lead third-party design consultants to deliver data centre facilities aligned with global specs.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to execute fit-out programs.
Provide engineering oversight: budget, schedule, and product delivery to meet quality and safety standards.
Identify engineering risks early in design to protect timelines and delivery quality.
