Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Design Manager to lead end-to-end design delivery for data centre facilities across Europe. You will manage third-party design consultants and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliant, high-quality infrastructure.

The role requires knowledge of M&E systems, building codes, and international travel up to 25%. You’ll drive design excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities such as data centres.
• Knowledge of complex mechanical, electrical, life safety, and control systems.
• Ability to lead external design consultants and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party design consultants to deliver data centre facilities aligned with specs.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal construction, finance, sales, and operations.
• Provide engineering oversight of budget, schedule, and product delivery.
• Identify engineering risks early to protect timelines and standards.
